Benjamin Brooks is a passionate math educator who has worked as a private tutor for over a decade.

Mr. Brooks started teaching high school in fall of 2018 at Hoover High School in Hoover, Alabama as a mathematics instructor and has continued as an instructor in Hoover City Schools for four years. For the past three years, Mr. Brooks has been an adjunct professor for the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Mr. Brooks graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and completed a teaching certification in Mathematics that same year. In 2021, he completed a Master of Arts in Education degree in Secondary Mathematics from UAB.

Mr. Brooks continues to grow professionally as a math educator and aims to curate a community platform for students learning at home as well as students in traditional classroom settings. Learnwithmrbrooks provides math learning resources for students taking math courses introduced in middle school as well as more advanced math courses introduced in high school and college. Our math learning resources will also support ACT/SAT prep, homeschooling curriculum development and instruction, and math learning enrichment.
